Gables pet care was founded when owner Jenny Portu could not find adequate local pet care for her son (Fletch). She did not want to board her adored pet, so, on her frequent weekend getaways she constantly had to rely on family, friends, and neighbors to ensure her pup's safe keeping. Feeling the guilt of always asking for favors she decided to take matters into her own hands by creating a service for likeminded pet owners.
